Individual & Group Psychotherapy

I provide individual and group therapy to adults and adolescents. My therapy approach is active and collaborative. I encourage genuineness, vulnerability, and growth, recognizing each person as a unique individual.

The evidence-based treatment methods that I use include:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Teaches strategies to increase activity engagement, face fears and anxieties that are negatively impacting your life, and overcome unhelpful thought patterns and core beliefs that exacerbate mental health problems. This psychotherapy approach includes exposure therapy, thought challenging, and behavioral activation among other techniques.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Teaches skills to manage difficult emotions and impulse-driven behaviors in an effort to live a more in-control and values-aligned life. Skills are broadly organized in domains of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. I offer both DBT-informed treatment as well as comprehensive DBT, which includes weekly individual therapy sessions, weekly DBT Skills Group, and as-needed phone coaching.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Uses acceptance and mindfulness-based strategies to explore emotions, thought patterns, and experiences, with the goals of increasing psychological flexibility and aligning with personal values.

Trauma-Focused Therapy: Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

PE and CPT are recognized as front-line cognitive-behavioral interventions for the treatment of trauma. They teach skills to challenge trauma-related beliefs and cope with trauma-related memories, feelings, and situations in an effort to reduce symptoms and re-engage with meaningful life activities.
